tree 7m tall, outer bark whittish and smooth, with very fine longitudinal fissures, inner bark red, sap wood yellow cream, no butress, coppicing, twigs rusty pubescent, leaves dark green above, tawny and pubescent below, midrib thin and prominent below, slightly raised above, secondary nerves faintly raised below, flat above, curving towards the margin, disappearing before, tertiary nerves sub-scalariform below, faint on both sides, male flowers and old fruits on the ground |
