Leaves on drying chocolate brown on both surfaces on matured trees, dark greenish-grey above, yellowish brown below on juveniles; glabrous above, hairy below, leathery; not peltate but deep lobed with three distinctive lobes; margin toothed, minutely recurved; base heart-shaped; apex almost abruptly tapering with very short, broad but pointed tip, midribs flat above, prominently raised, rounded & hairy below, red-brown on drying; lateral veins flat above, prominently raised& sparsely hairy below |
