Leaves on drying dark grey on both surfaces; leathery; oblanceolate; margin entire; base broadly wedge-shaped; apex very gradually tapering in juvenile, obtuse to rounded in adult, midrib slightly raised on both surfaces; lateral veins visible on both surfaces, looping & joining at the margin, the first few basal pair are perpendicular to the midrib; intercostals veins invisible. Petiole glabrous, black on drying. Lower surfaces of the leaf impressed to corrugated. |
