Leaves on drying dark brown to greyish brown above, chocolate brown to yellowish brown below, thinly leathery; margin entire, elliptic or oblong; base broadly wedge-shaped, sometimes asymmetric; apex gradually tapering with quite broad & blunt but long tip; midrib slightly raised above, prominently raised below; lateral veins flat above, raised below, looping & laxly & faintly joining near the margin; intercostal veins web-like, faintly visible on both surfaces in matured trees, distinct on juve |
