Leaves on drying pale brown on both surfaces, thinly leathery, elliptic to slightly obovate or ovate, comparatively larger in juvenile as compared to matured trees; base wedge-shaped to slightly obtuse; apex more or less abruptly tapering, slender narrow, elongated tip. especially so in juvenile; margin less corrugated; midrib flat above, raised below, hairy in juvenile; lateral veins flat above, raised below, l00ping & disappearing at the margin; intercostal veins sub ladder-like, obscure above |
