Leaves on drying pale mauve-brown above, pale brown in adult & matured trees, less so in sapling; elliptic, leathery, base wedge-shape in adult, rounded to obtuse in adult & sapling; apex tapering; midrib flat above, raised below, glabrous, lateral veins flat above, raised below, looping & disappearing near the margin, intercostal veins ladder-like faintly visible above, distinct below notably in adult & sapling. Stipule-amplexicaul scar; all part glabrescent. (Mature) |
