Leaves on drying reddish brown on both surfaces, leathery, margin entire; ovate; base obtuse, apex abruptly tapering with short pointed tip; midrib flat above, prominent below, stout; lateral veins flat above, prominent below, rather stout, looping, disappearing at the margin; intercostal veins ladder-like, invisible above, faintly visible below. Generally have scale-like domatia at the joint of the lateral veins of the midrib at the base of leaf. All fallen leaves |
