Leaves on drying pale mauve-brown above, pale orange-brown below, elliptic to ovate; thinly leathery; base obtuse or wedge-shaped; apex more or less abruptly tapering with slender elongated tip in juvenile, less so in the adult; margin slightly undulating towards upper half in the adult, less so in the juvenile, midrib flat above, raised below; lateral veins slender, flat above, raised below, well-spaced; intercostal veins closer ladder-like, obscure above, faintly visible below.
