Leaves on drying dull black to greenish or grey above, light brownish below; papery & glabrous, narrowly elliptic to elliptic; margin entire; base wedge-shaped; apex gradually tapering with a quite long tip; midrib flat above, raised below; lateral veins faintly raised to flat on both surfaces, looping & joining slightly away from the margin to form intramarginal vein-loops, faintly visible on both surfaces; intercostal veins obscure.
