Leaf on drying dark brown above; light grey-brown below; ovate to elliptic; margin distinctly with gland-like teeth; base slightly wedge-shaped, slightly decurrent; apex gradually tapering with a broad tip; midrib flat above, broad, raised below; lateral veins visible on both surfaces, flat above, hardly raised below, curved & joining towards the margin to form an indistinct intramarginal veins; intercostal veins widely web-like invisible above, faintly visible below.
