Leaves on drying dark green to yellowish green on both surfaces; rather papery; margin entire; base wedge-shaped; apex gradually tapering with short, rather broad tip; midrib raised on both surfaces, hairy; lateral veins widely spaced flat to very slightly sunken above; prominently raised below, looping & joining an intramarginal vein towards the margin; intercostal veins somewhat web-like, very widely spaced, invisible below. Petiole very short, almost sessile, hairy & so are the twig &leaf bud |
