Leaves on drying dark brown to greyish yellow on both surfaces; leaves simple alternate, glabrous, long, oblanceolate, thickly leathery; margin thickened & recurved; base asymmentrical; apex gradually tapering with moderately long & pointed tip; midrib glabrous, flat above, raised below, quite widely spaced, straight & joining quite far from the margin to form intramarginal vein-loops; intercostal veins web-like raised on both surfaces. Petiole glabrous, stout ± 8-13 mm long, wrinkled on drying. |
