Leaves on drying light to yellowish green above, chocolate to dull brown below; thinly leathery; margin entire, slightly recurved apically; base broadly wedge-shaped; midrib channeled above raised below; apex tapering abruptly with slender pointed tip, frequently bending to one side; lateral veins flat above, raised below, looping & joining apically; intercostal veins ladder-like, invisible above, faintly visible below. Twig, petiole, midrib (below), terminal bud covered with brownish hairs. |
