Leaves dark greenish-brown above, light brown below; leaves simple & spirally arranged, leaf-blade medium-sized, glabrous but a bit rough above, sparsely short-hairy below, elliptic-obovate, thinly papery; margin entire; base narrowly wedge-shaped to rounded, trinerved with the basal pair ascending slightly more acute than the lateral veins; apex acuminate, abruptly tapering with long, narrow & pointed tip; midrib raised & short-hairy on both surfaces, less so above; lateral veins faintly raised |
