Leaves on drying dark grey to brown to brown on both surface, glabrous above, sparsely hairy below, elliptic-obovate, margin entirely, base broadly wedge-shaped to narrowly rounded; apex gradually tapering with quite slender & pointed tip; midribs flats to slightly raised above, raised sparsely hairy, the second pair almost reaching half of the length of the blade, looping & disappearing near the margin; intercostal vein laxly ladder-like, visible on both surfcae, less so above.
