Leaves on drying greenish grey above, yellowish brown below; slightly leathery; margin entire; base wedge-shaped, slightly oblique; apex abruptly to gradually tapering with sharp tip; midrib shallow sunken & flat apically above, rounded , stout & prominent below; lateral veins visible on both surfaces, flat to slight raised above, prominent below, looping & joining apically near the margin; intercostal veins slender, densely ladder-like, visible on both surfaces.
