Leaves on drying dull grey on both surfaces, slightly paler below; leathery & sometimes shiny; elliptic-ovate; base wedge-shaped to rounded; apex gradually tapering with a short blunt tip; midrib shallowly sunken above, slightly raised below, lateral veins flat above, hardly raised below; looping & joining faintly near the margin; intercostal veins invisible on both surfaces . Petiole long c.±2 cm, dark yellow on drying & so is the midrib. NB: Leaves unifoliate. |
