Leaves on drying dark dull brown above, light brownish-white below; leaves simple & alternately arranged, leaf-blade small or medium sized, 3 plinerved, glabrous & dull above, glaucous below, elliptic or ovate, papery or thinly leathery; margin entire; base broadly shortly wedge-shaped or narrowly rounded; apex acuminate, abruptly tapering with quite long, narrow & rounded tip; midrib shallowly sunken & glabrous above, raised & glabrous below; lateral veins very few, 4 pairs with the basal pair |
