Leaves on drying grey, light greenish-grey on both surfaces; leaves simple & alternately arranged, leaf-blade medium-sized, glabrous on both surfaces, obovate or elliptic, papery; margin entire & plane; base alternate to broadly wedge-shaped, to slightly decurrent; apex shortly acuminate, abruptly tapering with short, quite broad & rounded tip; midrib narrow & sharply sunken & with prominent raised rims, notably at the basal part, raised, glabrous & black as a good contrast with light grey below |
