Leaves on drying dark mauve-grey above, paler to yellow-brown below in juvenile; ovate; leathery; margin entire; base shallowly wedge-shaped to obtuse; apex abruptly tapering; midrib flat or slightly raised above, raised below; lateral veins 7-9 pairs, flat above; raised below, looping & disappearing at the margin; intercostal veins slender, ladder-like. Petiole drying black, only half in juvenile, the other half is orange brown, distinct. Petiole, twig, & leaf glabrous. (Juvenile) |
