Leaves on drying greyish brown to reddish brown above, cream lepidote below in matured trees, not lepidote in juvenile; thinly leathery, margin slightly recurved/ revolute; narrowly ovate-lanceolate; base subequal, more or less broadly wedge-shaped; apex tapering gradually with narrow pointed tip, generally bending to one side; midrib narrowly raised to flat above, flat below; lateral veins flat on both surfaces, slender, close, invisible above, visible below, looping, disappearing at the margin |
