Leaves on drying dark brown on both surfaces; thickly leathery & thick; obovate to narrowly obovate; margin minutely recurved; base broadly tapering towards the petiole; apex abruptly tapering with very short, broad & blunt tip; midrib stout, rounded & raised on both surfaces; lateral veins raised on both surfaces, less so above, looping & disappearing near the margin; intercostal veins subladder web-like, invisible above, very faintly visible below. Petiole swollen at the base, slightly flatten |
