Leaves on drying dark chocolate brown on both surfaces, paler below; leathery; oblanceolate or narrowly obovate; margin entire; base gradually tapering down; apex gradually tapering with a pointed tip; midrib raised on both surfaces; lateral veins raised on both surfaces, more so below, with irregular & short intermediate veins, looping & disappearing near the margin, the first few basal pairs are perpendicular to the midrib; intercostal veins sub-web like, visible on both surfaces. Petiole flat |
