Herbaceous, annual plants with lance-shaped leaves, it grows to a height of 40-100 cm in shady places. The fruit is a capsule around 2 cm long. Small white flowers 1-2 cm long, set along a thin upright stem, tubular flowers have purple flecks on the inside of lip-like formation. Flavor of the leaf is extremely bitter. |
