A perennial and rhizomatous spreading herb. Stems; Glabrous, striated, rooting at the nodes. Leaves; long stalk, rounded to reniform, 2 to 5 cm wide, rounded apices and glabrous. Petioles are erect and long. Flowers; a flat top umbel of 3 flowers; petals are dark-purple, and ovate. Fruits; ocal-shaped or flat, consist of two mericarps. |
