| Plant Information |
A shrub; 1 m to 5 m height. Stems; Branching, 4-sided to subterete, bristly, reddish stems. Leaves; blades narrowly elliptical or oblong elliptical, acute at both ends, surfaces scurfy with 3 distinct ribs and 2 less prominent outer ribs. Flowers; pink magenta, consist of 5 petals, grow in 5 to 10 clusters. Fruits; numerous small seed embedded in purplish pulp. |
