Actual host of Rhizanthes sp. of cluster (6). Stem round, 3-4cm diameter maximu,; few if any lenticels aerial roots plenty lenticels. Grew 15-20m up on tree. Red underbark; all characters match description of the liana on page 340-346 in Bazigor (1995) Figs 15-17. Branch & aerial root collected from naturally torn liana by falling tree. Rhizanthes infected parts not damaged by collecting. |
