Short climbing rattan to 2m, with further 3m of bare cane at base on ground. Stem without sheath 12mm dia, with sheath 20mm. Internodes 8cm, bulbous knee present. Sheats unarmed. Leaves c. 2cm, including 50cm cirrus and petiole up to 40cm bearing two rows of long, yellow spines. Leaflets 40 each side of rachis, regular. |
