| Plant Information |
Robust solitary rattan, beginning to climb from rosette stage. Stem without sheaths 15mm dia, with sheath 25mm. Internodes c.30cm, small knee present. Sheats green, yellow around spine bases, armed with yellow brown planar spines to 3 cm in length, longer brown spines around sheath mouth. Leaves 2.5m including 50cm cirrus and spiny petiole to 50cm. 55 leaflets each side of the rachis, regularly arranged. |
