Moderately slender, clustering rotan to 15m. Stem without sheath 10mm dia. With sheath 14mm dia., cut surface exuding milky juice. Internodes c.25cm, knee present. Sheats green with grey indument and many fine black spicules that are readily detached. Ocrea to 1cm, dry, brown. Leaves 120cm including 60cm cirrus and very short petiole. Leaflets c. 7 each side of the rachis, rhomboid, without indument on undersurface, lowest pair of leaflets reflexed across stem. |
