Moderately slender, solitary rattan to 6m. Stem without sheaths 10mm dia. With sheath 1.5cm diam. Internodes 15cm, knee present. Sheath green, faily sparsely armed with short, wide, triangular spines, upper sheats barely armed. Vestigal flagellum to 8 cm present occasionally. Leaves 2m, including cirrus 1m and petiole 15cm. Leaflets ca. 25 on each side of rachis, grouped, purple-brown hairs present along veins on abaxial surface, to a lesser extent on the adaxial surface. |
