Small tree: 2m tall about 6cm dbh; alternate leaves; small drip tip; softly sinuous margin; thick dark petiole curved away from leaf underside in many cases. Fruits axillary & ramiflorous. Born singly or clusters on pale green peduncle.Unripe fruits yellowish green in colour. Ripefruits yellow-orange. Mesocarp fibrous & juicy like mango & fibers adhere to woody endocarp. 3 compartments only 1 seed. |
