Small shrub less than 1 m tall, approximately 2 cm diameter of stem. Axillary flowers & fruit: flower - white, tubulane with 4 lobes of petals which are hirsute-white; fruit globose, hirsute-purplish hairs & 4 persistent lobes at apex. Young growth also purplish hairs; midrib & rachis upper & lower lamina tannish hairs. |
