Copius milky white latex in stems; leaves paler in underside; leaves concentrated on terminal portion of branch, fruit on long stalk; paired & joined; seam run along fruit, then forms a ridge running in transverse arch; tree about 13cm dbh & 10 m tall. single fruit 370gm - 500 double unit 740gm. copius latex in fruit when cut. fruit length 101.8mm - 194mm; seeds about 30 embedded in red aril-firm aril & fruit mesocarp firm, yellow dry. |
